Seeking a Generational Harvest

About Me

IMG_9668Let’s see, where to begin. I was born at a very early age…actually, it was in 1956 in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Married to Leslie, my lovely bride since May 19, 1975, who next to the Lord, I owe everything.

We have three adult children that are married and their family photos are scattered around on this site somewhere. Andrea is the eldest, Sarah is next, then my son, David. I will give you a hint, they are all over the age of 30! We have also been blessed with 9 grandchildren so far, seven girls and two little guys.

I serve as the senior pastor of a wonderful church called Hope Family Fellowship, the link can be found under my favorite sites. Check it out, listen to sermon or two and let me know what you think.

I love to read and write so over the years I picked up some degrees – CFP – Certified Financial Planner, Master’s degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary in Houston, Texas, a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Master’s Graduate School of Divinity in Indiana, and a IMG_9428PhD in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary.

We also love home education and the family-integrated church model.

“If your Christianity does not make any difference at home, don’t export it until it does!”

The number one reason given for children rejecting their parent's faith is that the parents failed to live a genuine life in the home. What are our children seeing in our homes? Perfection is not required, but being genuine is.
